Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of firstorg.ai and the FirstOrg service ("the Service") operated by EMQM Limited ("we," "us," "our"), a company registered in England and Wales.
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service
FirstOrg is a content engine for early-stage companies. The Service builds a content strategy, plans a content calendar, writes posts, and — where you connect a publishing channel — schedules and publishes that content on your behalf. The content is produced with the assistance of artificial intelligence.
Additional features will be made available over time and may carry separate or supplementary terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to act on behalf of any business or organisation you represent when using the Service.
3. Your account and Google sign-in
You sign in to FirstOrg using your Google account through Google authentication. When you do, we receive basic profile information from Google, such as your name, email address, and profile picture. We do not receive your Google password.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of the Google account you use to access the Service and for all activity that takes place under your FirstOrg account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation.
4. Connecting your social channels
To publish on your behalf, you can connect your Buffer account to FirstOrg. By connecting Buffer, you authorise FirstOrg to access the social media channels available through it and to read, create, schedule, publish, and delete content on those channels in order to provide the Service.
You confirm that you own or are authorised to manage every channel you connect, and that your use of those channels through FirstOrg complies with the terms of Buffer and of each social media platform. You can disconnect Buffer at any time from within the app, which revokes our access going forward. Disconnecting does not by itself remove content already published.
5. Your content and your responsibility
The content FirstOrg produces is generated using AI based on the inputs you provide. AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a given context. You are solely responsible for all content that is published to your channels through the Service, including its accuracy, legality, and suitability, regardless of whether you reviewed it before publication.
You retain ownership of the content created for you and of the inputs you provide. You grant us the permissions necessary to generate, store, schedule, publish, and delete that content on your behalf as part of the Service. You must not use the Service to produce or publish content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful.
6. Trust controls and publishing
FirstOrg gives you trust controls so you can choose your level of comfort with automated publishing:
- Approve every post — nothing is published until you review and approve it.
- Autonomous publishing — you authorise FirstOrg to schedule and publish content on your connected channels without reviewing each post individually.
You choose and can change this setting in the app. If you enable autonomous publishing, you accept that content will go live without your individual review, and you remain fully responsible for everything published, as set out in section 5.
7. Use of AI services
The Service uses third-party AI providers, including OpenAI and Anthropic, to generate content and operate features of the Service. Some of the information you provide is shared with these providers for processing. See the Privacy Policy for details.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service
- Submit false, misleading, or harmful information
- Publish content that infringes the rights of others or breaches a platform's rules
- Use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm any other party
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission
9. Plans, pricing and payment
Paid plans are offered on a monthly or annual basis and renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. Prices and the features of each plan are shown on our pricing page and may change; we will give you reasonable notice of any price change before it applies to your renewal.
Prices are charged in the currency applicable to your region, and the exact amount and currency are confirmed at checkout. All payments are processed by our third-party payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card details. By subscribing, you authorise us, through Stripe, to charge your chosen payment method for the recurring fee until you cancel.
10. Refunds
If you are a new customer, you may request a full refund of your first payment within 14 days of that payment by emailing hello@firstorg.ai. Issuing the refund ends your subscription and your access to the Service.
Renewals and any subsequent (follow-on) payments are non-refundable. After the 14-day period, payments are non-refundable except where a refund is required by law.
11. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from within the app or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access to the Service until then. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or for any other reasonable cause.
12. Intellectual property
The Service, including all software, content, and branding that make up the platform, is owned by EMQM Limited or its licensors. The content generated for you is yours to use within your business, and you retain ownership of the information you provide.
13. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties including Google, Buffer, Stripe, the social media platforms you publish to, and our AI providers. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their acts, omissions, availability, or changes to their services.
14. Service availability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, including the timing or success of publishing to third-party channels.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EMQM Limited will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of revenue, profits, data, reputation, or business opportunities, or for any content published through the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service will not exceed the greater of £100 (or its equivalent in your billing currency) or the total amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under UK law.
16. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold EMQM Limited harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your misuse of the Service, the content published through your account, or your breach of these Terms.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
